Terminator: Dark Fate has been nominated in two categories for the 21st Annual Golden Trailer Awards. The trailer awards themselves have many categories ranging from comedy, horror, thriller, video game, music and more.
The first nomination for Terminator: Dark Fate is the ‘Feature Film’ Action category.

The pandemic has slowed down numerous award ceremonies but it does seem slightly odd that F9 and Army of the Dead, both having been released this year (2021) are facing off against Terminator: Dark Fate from 2019.
The first trailer (teaser) for Terminator: Dark Fate was not received well by the majority of fans, however, the trailer nominated for the Golden Trailer Awards by Create Advertising Group was better received and garnered some much needed hype among the fanbase. The trailer still wasn’t enough to win everyone around, but, as with the teaser; it was indeed representative of the movie Tim Miller, James Cameron, Skydance and Paramount Pictures were making.
The Create Advertising Group did exactly what Paramount Pictures asked of them.

Terminator: Dark Fate is also nominated to win an award for a trailer which was put together for Paramount Pictures by Aspect Ratio to promote the home release of the movie.

Terminator: Dark Fate failed to win an award this year out of the two categories it was nominated for; 1917 (Best Action) and Captain Marvel (Best Home Entertainment Action) won the awards.
