We previously reported on the recent ‘news’ that Terminator 7 may have James Cameron back at the helm of a future war movie, and that Robert Patrick is being “eyed” to return in a future Terminator project as the T-1000 (albeit slightly modified) – well, now, the very same news source which brought those unsubstantiated rumors to the attention of the internet, reports that:
“According to our intel, discussions are already happening behind the scenes at Paramount about trying to resurrect the flagging franchise after three decades of disappointment, with John Cena and Margot Robbie being bandied about as potential candidates to bring some fresh blood to the Terminator series.”

So, if WGTC (yes, we’re covering them again, because we’re damned if we do, and damned if we don’t… ) are to be believed; James Cameron is making a Terminator movie set in the future war, with Robert Patrick reprising the role of the T-1000 (V2.0), and also starring Margot Robbie (Sarah Connor?) and John Cena (T-800?).
