The casting call itself seems to originate from El Centro…

El Centro description on Wikipedia:

El Centro is a city in and county seat of Imperial County, California, the largest city in the Imperial Valley, east anchor of the Southern California Border Region, and the core urban area and principal city of the El Centro metropolitan area which encompasses all of Imperial County. El Centro is also the largest American city to lie entirely below sea level (−42 feet or −13 meters). The city, located in the far southeastern corner of California, is near the major Southern California city of San Diego and the Mexican city of Mexicali.

El Centro looks pretty damn near to the Mexican border which would strengthen our guess that the confirmed shooting locations of Budapest, Hungary and Spain for Terminator 6 could be to replicate a Mexico and if this casting call is authentic then this casting call location would great make sense… it would also be logical that after Terminator 2: Judgment Day- Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and John Connor would head for Mexico to hide away from the authorities as one of America’s most wanted criminals hanging around in in the US or LA wouldn’t be a wise choice unless Terminator 6 gives her a reason to go back there as a plot device. Obviously we are just making some guesses based on the information so don’t take our Mexico ramblings/theories to heart until a synopsis is revealed for the movie.

Interestingly “dancers” is part of the casting call and with Mexico in mind… could we be leading up to a scene with the villain of Terminator 6 (hopefully Arnold) chasing his targets through the “Day of the Dead” Festival (Día de Muertos) in Mexico? The visual concept of people celebrating the lives of those who have passed with people dancing in the streets at night attired as skeletons with candles everywhere could be very artistic, although dancers could just mean a strip-club or a nightclub. Maybe we’re overthinking or getting carried away by our imaginations with a Day of the Dead scenario but the Terminator franchise used to be about death… didn’t it?

Hopefully Terminator 6 will have a distinct quality and won’t just end up feeling like a LOGAN clone and a car chase in the middle of the desert.
