Terminator (2019) Release Date Pushed Back to November 2019

Terminator 3D 2019 Release Date

Some fans might be annoyed that the new Terminator movie’s theatrical release is being delayed by roughly 4 months but TheTerminatorFans.com approve and appreciate this new theatrical release date. After Terminator 2: Judgment Day the normal situation would be Terminator hits in the Summer or a July holiday weekend and results in nothing more than a throw away popcorn session of below par cinema that does nothing but throw a barrage of all action and no substance at the viewer. This time viewers are going to be travelling to theaters to escape the cold and glum Winter months to watch a new Terminator movie!
We also approve of this release month as it falls in line more with the original Terminator movie’s cinema debut which was in October 1984.

Here is the full report by Variety.com

Paramount has pushed the sixth “Terminator” movie back three months.

The studio said the move is not related to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s open-heart surgery last week.

The studio made the announcement Friday that it was changing the release date of the untitled movie from July 26, 2019, to Nov. 22, 2019. Paramount said that the date change had been in the works prior to his undergoing the emergency procedure at a Los Angeles hospital.

Schwarzenegger’s spokesman said on March 30 that the 70-year-old actor said “I’m back” on waking up from the procedure and was in good spirits. Schwarzenegger, who served as governor of California from 2003-2011, was attached last year to return to the “Terminator” franchise for the sixth film in the series.

Linda Hamilton will be returning as Sarah Connor, with Schwarzenegger also on board to reprise the role of his iconic cyborg. The sequel will be produced by Skydance and series creator James Cameron. The upcoming film will mark the first time that Hamilton, Schwarzenegger, and Cameron will be working together on the franchise since 1991’s “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, although Cameron has said that the film will be a direct sequel to “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”

Hamilton starred in the first two pics, starting with “The Terminator,” which was released in 1984. Connor was a waitress hunted down by a killer cyborg, played by Schwarzenegger, sent from the future to kill her in order to prevent her from giving birth to the savior of mankind.

Paramount Pictures is distributing domestically with 20th Century Fox handling the movie internationally. “Deadpool” director Tim Miller is directing.

One could also argue that Paramount and Skydance are trying to avoid competition at the box office as it was meant to go head to head with Dwayne The Rock Johnson’s Untitled Fate of the Furious Spinoff… Sadly they probably are trying to avoid that movie but come on Fate of the Furious Vs the return of James Cameron, Linda Hamilton and Schwarzenegger in a potential shot at being a true sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day?
We know which movie we would rather see and which one we have no interest in at all (sorry Rock but you are not a patch on Schwarzenegger and never will be, no matter how hard Hollywood tries to hand you the mantle)!

The Untitled Terminator Reboot, which we prefer to call Terminator (2019) until a title is set in stone, will be released in Nov. 22, 2019,- so get the knitted jumpers at the ready, wrap up warm and then prepare to melt in the theater as you are taken to New Meixco with the new Terminator movie. Now all we can do is hope that this a serious and mature movie which isn’t some fluffy Christmas comedy movie aimed at children.
