Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D Number One Movie at UK Box Office

Great news and a big congratulations to James Cameron and STUDIOCANAL UK- and a huge thank you to all the UK Terminator Fans that turned out to watch Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D on JUDGMENT DAY (August 29th); you contributed to the success and making the movie number one at the UK box office! WELL DONE!

Target acquired. #T23D is the Number 1 film in the UK Box Office!

Terminator 2 3D only had a one day showing in the UK on only 442 screens and August 29th 2017 (JUDGMENT DAY) was a special event for that very reason. It was the perfect day to release the movie and, as we have said before, we think all countries should have released on that day!

STATEMENT FROM STUDIOCANAL

“We are incredibly pleased with the UK box office result of the event release of TERMINATOR 2 in 3D. We have been working with James Cameron for a long time on creating this version of the film, 25 years after its release, and to give fans the opportunity to see the film again as it was originally intended, on the big screen. We look forward to continuing to screen the film this weekend to enthusiastic fans across the nation.”

Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D smashed The Hitman’s Bodyguard (starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson) out of number one position after 11 days as number one and it makes you wonder if T23D had been given a longer run at UK cinemas… how long could it have stayed NUMERO UNO?
