T2 3-D: Battle Across Time (1996)

Terminator 2 Universal Studios Florida

Flash forward to the future to the chilling, machine-controlled world of the Terminator.

Inside Cyberdyne Systems Corporation, you’ll witness the unveiling of the new Terminator robots – that is, until you’re caught in the crosshairs of a live, human rebel strike that’ll have you ducking for cover!

As part of the audience you will be taking a trip to the future on a mission to defeat Cyberdyne once and for all… or is it? At the heart of a highly advanced SKYNET Pyramid is a Giant CPU. Guarding the CPU is anyone’s worst nightmare a mimetic poly alloy spider named the T-1,000,000 but before John and Uncle Bob can get there they need to fight some old adversaries on an explosive chase from the relentless killing machines.

Before James Cameron changed cinema with Avatar and 3D Technology he broke new ground with this ride. So put on the glasses and dodge the T-1000 from the seat of a Harley Davidson fat boy.

THE TERMINATION OF SKYNET?

So Skynet has been breached by a young John Connor (Edward Furlong) and T-800 CSM-101 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) in an attempt to shut SKYNET down once and for all. After surpassing the Plasma firing Turrets protecting each point of the Skynet pyramid’s foundations, John and the T-800 make their way down on lifts into the bowels of Skynet, by destroying the main CPU can SKYNET be stopped for good?

SKYNET’S MOST DEADLY? THE T-1,000,000!

On entering the CPU chamber all seems quiet but in fact the most menacing Terminator of all is lurking, when what seems to be a structural beam of metal surrounding the CPU which is in fact liquid metal which morphs into the T-1,000,000 a gigantic monstrosity which takes the form of a deadly spider.

The T-1000 of Terminator 2 was a prototype killing machine- obviously being the most flawless design and SKYNET’s last hope, most likely sent back at the time of the smashing of the defense grid and the end of the war as John Connor and his troops lead the survivors of Judgment Day into a future with no machines.

However the T-1,000,000 is an ancestor of the T-1000 and it had a flaw, extreme temperatures either cold or hot can render the unit with errors and glitches within its mimetic poly alloy structure.
