Schwarzenegger In Talks To Play ‘The Exterminator’

Toxic Avenger

Arnold Schwarzenegger is in talks to co-star in Steve Pink’s remake/reboot of “The Toxic Avenger”.

The action-comedy will follow a 17 year-old high school student who gets dunked in toxic waste by a corrupt chemical company. He survives with the ability to transform into a monster with superhuman strength and becomes an unlikely hero.

Schwarzenegger is in negotiations to play the character of  “The Exterminator,” a former black ops agent who trains the protagonist to use his powers for good.

This movie will be a comedy so expect lots or at least a few nods or throwbacks to the Terminator franchise.

As always we stress that the next Terminator movie should not portray Schwarzenegger or the Terminator character in a comedic or lighthearted fashion.  T3 gave us too much of it and the sickening taste of one-liners and stupid out of character performance and dialogue will not be accepted by fans a second time around.

When exploring his options for a 3rd Terminator movie Arnold was unhappy with early scripts due to lack of “one-liners”.

Comedy Arnold + Terminator = FAIL
