Sam Worthington hits the 37th year of his life today. Starring as Marcus Wright in 2009’s Terminator Salvation and also still eager to reprise the role for a future Terminator sequel. Sam Worthington is an Australian heart-throb even though born in England before going to live in Australia. He gave John Connor his heart in order to save mankind… how kind. Would you like to see Sam Worthington back in a future Terminator movie… without a heart would he be all bad?
Arnold Schwarzenegger also named Sam as his next generation replacement as an action star and will be starring with him in ‘Sabotage’ previously titled ‘Ten’ and ‘Breacher’. Sabotage is one of the Schwarzenegger movies we are more interested in. IMDb.com says Worthington’s characters name will be ‘monster’.

Trivia: Originally Christian Bale was meant to play the role of Marcus Wright until he decided he wanted to be John Connor and for the entire script to be changed in order to flesh out the non-existant role for the character. Originally John Connor would only have meant to be seen in the final scenes of Terminator Salvation when a submarine was meant to rise in the water under the San Francisco bridge. John Connor and his resistance would have originally turned up at the originally planned SkyNet Central which would have been an idyllic resort with hybrids living in harmony and starting the world from scratch again.
