PureArts Terminator 2 T-1000 Bust Teaser Reveals Chrome Donut Head

PureArts have been teasing a new Terminator 2: Judgment Day T-1000 collectible for some time, but a new teaser video reveals exactly what it is going to be. PureArts are definitely back with a blockbuster sequel to their T-800 Battle Damaged Art Mask.

Jaw dropping moments occurred when the shapeshifting villain of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (T-1000) got pumped full of ammunition courtesy of the visual effects masters at Stan Winston Studio.
During the final fight with SkyNet‘s most deadly Terminator, Linda Hamilton‘s Sarah Connor delivers a shotgun round directly into the liquid metal T-1000 at close range; resulting in a giant hole in the assassin’s head. This effect became known as “Donut Head” during production .

Donut Head even made it onto the cover of issue 47 of Cinefex

So far this collectible is ticking all the boxes. We were hoping to see a chrome bust and the likeness of T-1000 actor Robert Patrick, but PureArts went a step further, and have also captured an iconic practical effects moment from T2 that will make this a must have for many Terminator Fans.

A previous teaser showed fans a LAPD police badge. Maybe this will come with the Exclusive edition of the Art Mask?
