Please Leave Terminator Alone Jai Courtney

Business Insider has interviewed Jai Courtney.

When asked by a reporter about returning as Kyle Reese to the Terminator franchise; Jai gave the following answer…

I’ve certainly become unattached to the idea of it having to come around again,

Yes, Jai we are totally unattached to the idea of having you back in the Terminator franchise too.

If it seems like an obvious movie to make then cool. But with ‘Terminator,’ who knows, it’s probably time to leave it where it is.

Jai Courtney thinks it’s time to give up on the Terminator franchise! Like OMG! Wait though… didn’t the fan-base already give up on Jai?

If they can get back in there and dig around and decide there is another film to make, I’ll take the call,

Get back in there and dig around? Removing the nails from the casket to give us more Paramount/Skydance nonsense… ? This franchise is worth nothing now unless it is in the hands of the original creators.

“Take the call?” Wasn’t that a really bad Ghostbusters reboot?

Emilia Clarke simply did the right thing and brushed it under the carpet; she doesn’t want to talk about Terminator as she pursues other projects, the right way to handle things (Jason Clarke wasn’t really in Terminator Genysis- it was a hologram from some deleted Terminator movie).

Business Insider goes on to comment:

Now that its Sarah Connor is gone, Paramount is obviously hitting the reset button.

Didn’t Paramount already hit the reset button? Hit fucking delete Paramount, why embarrass yourself more than you have already? Is it any wonder that Paramount Pictures is not maintaining its place in the industry?

Emilia Clarke was never Sarah Connor in the eyes of true fans and never will be, the Real Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) was never asked back but was originally supposed to star in Terminator 5 and 6, that is before reboot-trigger-happy-money-grubbing little fingers got involved…

Business Insider went on to ask Jai if he is sad that there are no Terminator movies are coming soon… his response was…

Um, no,

Seriously, Jai is either a real dick-wad or plain dumb at this point.

Funnily enough Jai also spoke to CinemeaBlend, a site that was always very pro-genisys-propaganda leading up to launch and onward.

There’s definitely some pretty clear outlines for where that was going to be taken, and shit sounded really cool, man. So, that’s why part of me is fine with the fact that if we’ve moved on from that, we’ve moved on from that. I’m not one to kind of… I don’t have many regrets in life, and I don’t really hang onto the past too strongly either way. So, it’s like fuck, man. It was disappointing to hear that they’d sort of nixed the plans to get another one up and running, because I thought it would probably be relatively quick turnaround if they did it. But, you know, there’s also reasons for that, so we’ll see.

A “relative quick turn around” oh wow, so you want more money Jai? #EasyMoney

“So, it’s like fuck, man”

Yeah Jai… it’s like fuck, man.

So, this guy doesn’t care if there are any more Terminator movies, something he is actually partly responsible for but he is happy to make some quick cash if they want to rip another Genisys sequel out before Jim gets the rights?

Just like Emilia Clarke is no Sarah Connor (Hamilton), Jai Courtney is no Kyle Reese (Biehn), they are impostors going for a joy ride in someone else’s car. As always we stand by canon continuation and Genisys was not worth abandoning canon for and we instead choose to simply not take it seriously because it isn’t a Terminator movie.

There are only two people who should rightfully operate this franchise and that is Jim Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd, as big fans we have found it always to be a huge disrespect that they are not involved in the franchise.

Time is now proving who made this franchise successful in creative and cast and since they have been gone look at where we stand today, enough said.

We have no problem saying Jai and Emilia were totally miscast, Terminator Genisys looked exactly how the script read… a pile of shit.

Jai Courtney; we know you like the money but please stop talking about Terminator.

This isn’t the first time Jai has put his foot in it with fans and saying he doesn’t care what die-hard fans think of his Kyle Reese/Terminator Genisys.

So, he says he doesn’t care about die-hard-Terminator fans (oh look another pun), doesn’t care about more Terminator movies getting made, but if his original contract can kick in for cash again… count this guy in.

We equally disliked the performances of Jai and Emilia,- Arnold Schwarzenegger is also guilty of aiding and abetting the continued dilution of a franchise that greed has killed the art of.

Terminator Genisys has been available for many months in your local supermarket bargain bins,- although it is unwatchable and will have you reevaluating how bad T3 and Salvation are all over again.
