The NFT market may have recently collapsed 97% from the record trading high of January 2022, but rising from the ashes of the non-fungible token’s Judgment Day is an officially licensed Terminator 2: Judgment Day NFT collection courtesy of Studiocanal in collaboration with Nifty Gateway; the digital art online auction platform.
The NFT collection titled ‘The Official TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY T-800 Art Collection‘ will have 3 ‘chapters‘ from different artists.
The first chapter, by artist Adam Spizak, will be a 24hr auction consisting of a 3D artwork collection centered around the iconic T-800 Endoskeleton – with inspiration drawn from the events seen in the blockbuster Terminator sequel, T2.
‘Judgment: Day 1’ is an animated “Nifty” NFT that depicts the T-800 Endoskeleton in flames, and will have an edition of 1.
Two other non-animated, static, non-fungible token pieces ‘No Fate – Classic‘ and ‘No Fate – Retro Future‘ will be available for minting and mass purchase by NFT traders and Terminator Fans.
We presume that fans can expect a Judgment Day 2 & 3, as “chapters 2 & 3” from a yet to be announced artist/s are coming too (we’ll update this information accordingly).

“TERMINATOR 2’s impact on my art journey has been one of the most significant milestones in becoming a 3D artist. I remember seeing it as a teenager and being absolutely gobsmacked with its exhilarating story and revolutionary special effects. Through the years, it has become one of my favourite films, inspiring my work and pushing me to grow as an artist. Being able to work on a project related to it was both fun and a dream come true. I wanted my art to subtly embody the film’s storytelling while pushing my artistic and technical skills to create beautiful artworks celebrating TERMINATOR 2 and its legacy. Each art piece aimed to explore different iconic T2 themes, from the famous fire opening sequence and T-800 exoskeleton, to the retro-future war and themes of destiny.
