New Terminator TV Series in The Works

Will Arnold make an appearance in the new Terminator TV Series?

Remember not so long ago that TSCC producer and writer Josh Friedman made this tweet regarding the conclusion of TSCC…

It was kind of obvious that the new owners were going to do a TV series because Josh was not allowed to Kickstart the project which is something the fans wanted to happen. After the success of The Veronica Mars Kickstarter it seemed possible that fans of TSCC would get season 3 finally.

It has now been revealed that a new Terminator TV Series is in the works but this TV Series will tie-in to the rebooted movie series. It will apparently be set after the events of the first movie Terminator (2015) and will take a completely different direction of narrative from a key event in the movie (alternate timelines anyone?) but over the course of the series it will reconnect with the movies narrative/plots and give the audience intellectual rewards or at least that will be the aim. Whether it will have new characters or actors from the movie/cameos is unknown.

This is a wild shot but maybe hiring Emilia Clarke would mean that she may star in the TV show too. Who knows, but it could be likely.

Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller will write and exec produce the Terminator TV Series.

The pair’s credits also include X-Men First Class, Fox’s “Fringe” and feature film “Thor.” They are represented by Principato-Young.

Megan Ellison of Annapurna will produce the “Terminator” TV series with her brother David, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross of Skydance Productions. Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier are on board as executive producers.

So does this excite you? or would you rather have had season 3 of TSCC?
