NECA love to tease fans with new projects and figures they have in production and they have just teased a new ‘Ultimate Future RoboCop’ Figure from the comic book world of RoboCop Vs Terminator by Dark Horse Comics.

The figures planned are somewhat Hybrid in design;- merging parts the Endoskeleton design with RoboCop, allowing some interesting artistic license to transition from the comics into collectible reality. The above image is pretty damn cool.
Even during production at this developmental stage and unpainted we can see meticulous detail as usual going into the NECA figures.

Also previously teased was ‘EndoCop’:- again merging the designs of both RoboCop and the Terminator (T-800) Endoskeleton in a different fashion but equally as awesome!

Did you know that Arnold Schwarzenegger nearly played RoboCop?
For the theatrical trailer, Orion used the music from their film The Terminator (1984) which is also a movie about a cyborg (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger). Schwarzenegger was briefly considered for the role of RoboCop, but those involved with the film were concerned he would be too bulky in the suit and end up looking like the Michelin Man. Also, the background music was very misleading to some people, who believed the film to be a sequel to The Terminator. Explaining humanity’s dependence on technology, and the rise of Skynet.
