Linda Hamilton Returns in Sci-Fi Time Travel Thriller “Curvature”

Curvature Linda Hamilton

As we mentioned a while back; Linda Hamilton (The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day) was to star in a time travel/science-fiction thriller and the response to it has been so good that the rights have been picked up to distribute the film worldwide and is set to have a release in North America!

CURVATURE is a time travel sci-fi drama about an engineer who travels back in time to stop herself from committing a murder.

Linda Hamilton possibly back on the big screen before the new Terminator 2 Sequel release in 2019 sounds great to us!

THR reports:

Screen Media Films have picked up worldwide rights to Curvature, a time travel thriller starring Linda Hamilton (Terminator).

Screen will release Curvature in North America, with a bow planned for early 2018. The company is also handling international sales on the feature and will be shopping the project to foreign buyers at AFM.

“Diego and Julio have crafted a really smart and tense film that audiences will really respond to,” said Seth Needle, senior vp worldwide acquisitions at Screen Media Films, who negotiated the deal with Scott Freije at XYZ Films on behalf of the filmmakers. “We can’t wait to bring it to genre fans across the world.”

Diego Hallivis directed Curvature in his feature debut and produced the film, together with brother Julio for their 1inMM Productions banner. The plot of the film, from a script by Brian DeLeeuw, has Hamilton playing an engineer who travels back in time to stop herself from committing a murder. Lyndsy Fonseca and Glenn Morshower co-star.

Curvature had its world premiere last month at Spain’s prestigious Sitges fest dedicated to genre cinema.

This is great news and we will definitely be watching Curvature to see how Linda has been utilized in the movie. Linda Hamilton remains our favorite actress and we are always happy to see her work because she is always on form and does great work.

Linda Hamilton’s career is now on track for a huge mainstream comeback and Terminator 6 had better be damn good because we will not appreciate a movie that fails or lets Linda Hamilton or the character of Sarah Connor down. Linda has totally earned this huge comeback and we can’t think of anyone who deserves to be loved and celebrated more in Hollywood right now.
