Greenlight Collectibles Set To Release New T2 Diecast Vehicles

GreenLight Collectibles are BACK to bring Terminator Fans iconic diecast vehicles from the hit sequel to The Terminator (1984) – Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

We already had some very nice and very affordable small scale vehicle replicas from GreenLight Collectibles based on iconic vehicles that featured in the first movie, and these went down well with fans and it’s nice to see that a deal has now been inked for Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

INDIANAPOLIS (December 16, 2019) – GreenLight Collectibles has finalized a new licensing deal with Studiocanal, represented by Creative Licensing Corporation, for the 1991 hit film Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

T2 was a massive box-office success. The film generated over $519.8 million worldwide and has been estimated to have sold 48,656,400 tickets in North America alone. The film saw breakthroughs in computer-generated imagery, including the first use of natural human motion for a CGI character. T2 went on to win numerous awards including “Favorite Motion Picture” at the 18th People’s Choice Awards and “Best Visuals” at the 64th Academy Awards.

The first installment in the Terminator franchise has been a great success in GreenLight’s iconic Hollywood lines, and GreenLight expects nothing less for T2. Cale Hotton, Director of Licensing and Product Development for GreenLight, stated “Everyone at GreenLight is excited to add Terminator 2 and the opportunity to build on the great success that we have had with the Terminator franchise.”

Set to release in Spring of 2020, the T2 lines are planned to include the following:
