Happy Birthday to the Original Hero and Villain of THE TERMINATOR

Before Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) was a computer factory exploding loon,  she was an innocent regular girl with a normal job who became the target of the mysterious phone-book-killer; she needed to be protected by the one and only Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn)… he told her what the future had in store at the hands of the merciless machines that roam our future, he told her that her son would be of great importance one day and that travelling back in time was his chance to meet the legendary Sarah Connor in the flesh.

Happy Birthday to Michael Biehn whose portrayal of Kyle Reese stands the test of time and like Linda Hamilton remains rightfully undefeated in the role. Although Kyle Reese died doing his mission he was intrinsic to the mythos of the entire canon story of Terminator and was 1/3 of the on-screen foundations that would result in this movie being archived in the library of congress (American Film Registry).

Michael Biehn is also set to be resurrected in a Requel (sequel to Aliens) in which he will reprise the role of Hicks. Michael has also been working behind the Camera with wife Jennifer Blanc-Biehn and their production company Blanc/Biehn productions. They are producing various movies in the horror/grindhouse categories and are also currently working on a Science-Fiction movie called Fembot which will also star Biehn. Not so long ago Michael directed The Victim which he also starred in with Jennefer Blanc-Biehn.

Blanc-Biehn productions is also scoring great distribution deals of late, so things are going from strength to strength.

Happy belated birthday wishes to Arnold Schwarzenegger; whose Birthday was yesterday, he played one of the best cinematic villains in movie history THE TERMINATOR. This was Arnold at his finest in the series, this is the T-800 we will always remember, the horror icon… At one time Arnold stood in line as one of horrors greatest creations but today Hollywood has transformed this character into the one-liner spewing elephant in the room. We hope Arnold doesn’t end the franchise on Terminator Genisys.

Arnold will be back with Linda Hamilton in theaters for the release of Terminator 2 3D later this year.

Arnold’s next movies will be 478 which is in now in post-production and he will star as Viktor in a story based on the airline accident that occurred in July of 2002 and on the events that took place 478 days later.

Arnold is currently filming what we presume is a dark comedy Why We’re Killing Gunther and he will play Gunther so he could well be targeted for Termination in this movie.

There is a great potential in the original The Terminator cast returning and the original creative team directed by Jim Cameron and produced by Gale Anne Hurd in a true R Rated Terminator movie but will it ever happen?
