Linda Hamilton is another favorite fans would like to see return for a fifth installment of the Terminator series. It has been rumored that she’ll return but with the Terminator trilogy reboot it could be unlikely that we will get what we want as fans. Linda Hamilton was written into the original Terminator 3 script which we have read. She refused to return due to her role in the movie not being substantial enough to warrant her return a decision we agreed with. So, the writers simply killed her off; which we just found disrespectful to the character. If Linda Hamilton had agreed to do Terminator 3 she would have been a background figure with no substance, she would have traveled to CRS with John (instead of Brewster) to end SkyNet but would have been killed by Terminator drones in a sacrifice so John and the T-850 could continue their mission. The legendary Sarah Connor did not deserve such an empty and pathetic exit from the series.

We hope she will be back once again. A reboot could also mean reverting back the timeline so anything is possible. A few years ago we did put the idea out there that she could have faked her own death for reasons unknown and to define her son’s character as a great military leader.
