If you are a hardcore Terminator Fan like us; you will know that ‘The T-1000’ was a one of a kind prototype Terminator and SkyNet’s LAST ditch attempt (known to man) to win the war against the human race after the defense grid was smashed at SkyNet HQ,- SkyNet lost the war but The T-1000 was a perfect back-up plan… this is why the sequels have made no sense whatsoever to us and have paled in comparison…. but wait… the timeline has been changed, distorted, fractured, reset (you know those terms studios give when they don’t have a fucking clue what they are doing with this franchise…).
Robert Patrick took over the villain spot from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the sequel and essentially became THE TERMINATOR of Terminator 2: Judgment Day… Robert Patrick did a perfect job and gave us a new more advanced Terminator to enjoy that could form objects of equal size/morph into people it has contact with, blend into its environment and form knives and stabbing weapons.

Stan Winston Studio and ILM perfectly fused practical and CGI FX that would make the audiences jaws drop at the sheer depth and spectacle of 1991’s T2 and the effects still hold up today… even the latest Terminator movie (the worst of them all) tried to re-enact the magic of The T-1000 but failed and the CGI wasn’t even up to the 1991 standards of T2: Judgment Day.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is the T-800 CSM-101 and Robert Patrick is The T-1000 but we would definitely class them both as THE TERMINATORS of this franchise and the only villains that are canon to the Jim Cameron saga and vision.
While we are through with contributing major ideas or working on various mass concepts to help save this franchise, we are willing to give an occasional throw-away idea in the name of fandom, like Sarah Connor faking her death;- an idea we contributed in the run up to Terminator Salvation, ignoring sub-par sequels (T3-TG) or just retaining important key parts and doing it right, talking about Aging Terminators and how we could see the T-800 and The T-1000 back on the big screen.
We did also put Robert Patrick in our T6 fan trailer as a human police officer with the idea he could be the very cop who managed to detain one of America’s most wanted Sarah Connor (Hamilton) in a true sequel to Terminator 2 Judgment Day but we need the original director (Cameron) and producer (Hurd) to fully get on board with such a project… or it is just too much of a risk for this now devalued franchise.
