Linda Hamilton is 61 years old today and next year she will return to the role of Sarah Connor- which will be 27 years since she last portrayed the role since 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. She will return alongside 70 year old Arnold Schwarzenegger in a movie that will apparently aim to turn around negative stereotypes and ageism born from Hollywood’s unrealistic expectation of image.
Linda is already training for the big return to progress the story on-wards from Terminator 2: Judgment Day in a way that Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys failed to do. Without the creative involvement of James Cameron; the franchise has been trapped in a big mess and it was also one of the main reasons Linda turned down a return for Rise of the Machines.
The news of Hamilton’s return has stormed the internet garnering a greatly positive reaction from fans still waiting to see “The Real T3” and this is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity to achieve it. Hopefully Skydance and Lightstorm Entertainment will achieve the goal and bring the franchise back to cinematic gold.
