Fembot By Blanc/Biehn Productions Announced

Fembot

One of Michael Biehn’s most iconic roles is in The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day as Kyle Reese. Kyle is Sarah Connor’s protector from the deadly Terminator. Whenever I see Mr. Biehn now I think of this character. However, that has been his last robot movie… until Fembot got the green light.

Biehn and his wife, Jennifer Blanc-Biehn, are now having their production company make Fembot.

The power couple!

What will this movie be about?

Like all good science fiction stories, at least the kind I find myself liking the most, it involves a look at modern day society as well as showing when humanity goes too far. The thing about science is that you can do things, but whether or not you should do them is another matter. Terminator’s villain Skynet showed that.

Fembots are a classic science fiction robots that look like women and are used to pleasure men. The Stepford Wives, even if you haven’t seen it like myself, is a go to example of what is meant by this. An ideal for some men is for women to obey their every command and fembots fulfill this need.

The basic premise is Zayden Beckett (Michael Biehn) gets the fembot Arla who is defective. She starts getting her own mind and gets jealous when Zayden starts to fall in love with a real woman.

The film shows, among other things; that living in reality is important. That the fictional world can only take you so far and should never be put above reality.

And what’s going on behind the scenes?

The Biehns’ met Martin Richard Kristek, owner and CEO of Care-Energy and Esco, and were attracted by his views on renewable energy as well as him being a European actor. The Biehns will work with Kristek on Fembot.

Production for Fembot is set to begin in July of 2014 and its planned released date is in 2015.
