Exclusive: Terminator Genisys Superbowl Trailer Confirmation; VFX Shots Cancelled

Terminator Genisys Superbowl

Another source close to the production of Terminator Genisys has revealed that Skydance Productions has cancelled certain sequences involving the Future War and young 1984 Arnold for the upcoming Superbowl promo/trailer. This could be due to not wanting to rush certain CGI aspects for important scenes. This doesn’t mean you might not see a younger Arnold or any future war scenes it just means that certain shots expected for the second trailer are not required but will still possibly continue on in post-production.

We can only see this as a positive thing for the movie and the studio is obviously approaching the presentation of this movie with caution and care. It is unknown or if a separate special promo will has been arranged like T3 Rise of the Machines involving Arnold but a trailer is a must for fans. It will be a good mystery for the Terminator fans to discover during the Superbowl and of course a Trailer should follow online at www.TerminatorMovie.com shortly after airing on TV.

This obviously confirms that the rumored Superbowl/Commercial/Trailer will happen. Fans are very excited for a Superbowl promo.

Skydance Productions and Paramount Pictures will be looking to get maximum exposure/views on the Trailer… what day could that be?

Wikipedia states:

“On Super Bowl Sunday, millions of people gather to watch the Super Bowl. Some such gatherings are known for the large amount of food that is consumed by attendees.”

Due to the millions looking to watch the Superbowl on Sunday whilst consuming large quantities of burgers and beer… that could indeed be the day Terminator Genisys crashes the Superbowl with pistons of fury!

Let’s take a look at previous Terminator Superbowl Trailers and Promos. Terminator 3 and Salvation had trailers at the Superbowl so it was inevitable Genisys wouldn’t want to miss out on what is becoming a trend for the series.
