We managed to speak to the (now confirmed) Production Designer of Terminator 6; Sonja Klaus.
Sonja has worked on many projects,- including Gladiator, Prometheus, Dog Soldiers, X-Men: First Class, Mr Selfridge, Taboo and The Aftermath, she has worked with Ridley Scott and his production company many times and we can definitely say that when she works on Terminator 6 you should be expecting some very detailed and comprehensive sets that should bring realism to the project.
Terminator 6 has not officially entered pre-production yet but TheTerminatorFans.com decided to catch up with Sonja anyway!
Regarding Terminator 6 Sonja can’t really say much; as it is obviously very top secret at this stage.
Are you excited to be working on Terminator 6?
I think it’s amazing and I cannot believe I am working on it!

Yes, his work is amazing and Terminator 6 will be amazing because Tim Miller is brilliant…
We liked what Tim did with Deadpool and its R Rating…
Yeah, it’ll be great but unfortunately I am not able to talk about it at this stage.
We know you’ve worked with Ridley Scott a lot, another great director, and you recently wrapped production on The Aftermath (A Scott Free Production) which is a period piece; was that fun?
Yes I did, that was great! It stars Kiera Knightly, Alexander Skarsgård and Jason Clarke. That film will be totally different from Terminator 6 as it was set after the second world war.
We know that you are meticulous in your detail after viewing some of your previous work in Production/Set Design…
Yes, well I’ve worked with the master,- with Ridley for a very long time and I have learned an awful lot from working with him.
Oh yes, Mr. Scott is certainly a perfectionist.

Reading between the lines of what’s been said; we think it’s safe to say that T6 probably won’t be a period piece set in the distant past…
