Exclusive: More Terminator Genisys Changes and More Hunter Killer Details

Sources close to the production of Terminator Genisys have informed us that not only is the fight (T-800 Vs T-800) changing- but this will also be the same outcome for the FlyingHK/Spider Tank; which we exclusively reported/confirmed would be a kind of 2 in 1/transforming Terminator unit in the future war, in the year 2029.

Just like the fight changing between the two Terminator Units, the Flying/Spider HK is also undergoing some changes involving the look of the machine. We have prided our news on not spoiling the movie for fans but instead have focused on stories that raise your interest in what will be in the movie. Due to the changes involved in post production; nothing is final, and as we report news to you it is correct at the time the news is run as we get more confirmation on the information we receive.

Due to these changes we have now decided to reveal the old design of the Flying HK/Spider Terminator via another artistic interpretation…

As you can see from the old design,- the Spider HK is located within the Flying HK, which is deployed via a hatch mechanism; like the compacted Spider HK, hitting the ground then transforming/converting into the deadly and fully battle-ready Spider Tank.

The HK commands both land and air at the same time; which obviously increases the threat to The Resistance and will obviously be part of a deadly future war battle between man and machine!

We can’t tell you specifics as that is not our mission, so in terms of the unit sharing the same AI… could the Terminator unit be a singular AI and the spider perhaps a fail-safe should the HK become damaged… or perhaps they’re two Terminator Units (tag team style seek and destroy co-units).

We don’t know what will remain in the final design of the 2 in 1 Terminator from this diagram but the idea of transforming/converting/2-in-1 Terminator hasn’t rubbed any fans the wrong way and are very accepting of the concept. The hatch method still may be intended to be used but like we said, nothing is final until the finished product plays at theaters!

It will be very similar to Terminator Salvation in the way that the Moto-Terminators detached from the feet of the Harvester but probably done much better from what we have seen.

What we can tell you is; the legs on the spider should be larger/wider in the final movie. In terms of transforming in the Spider Tank state it has been described by a source close to production as more of a re-alignment/re-assignment as the unit has two sets of Gatling guns front and back and can switch states to fire both front and back instead of the machine having to dance around in circles… so running for cover behind the machine won’t save our heroes in Terminator Genisys (Kyle and John).

Spiders in the computer games have also been known to scale buildings, leap through the air and clamber down walls. So the potential action/movements for the unit could be interesting to see.

Overall this Terminator design is interesting and we hope it will be used to full effect in a spectacular sequence in the future war.

We hope we feel the threat of this machine on the big screen. The Spider Tanks have appeared in computer games before, but this is the first time we will see one in a theatrical Terminator movie. Of course the new Trilogy by Skydance Productions will bring more Terminator Units into play as sequels will obviously feature future war scenes and plot.

Chronicle Collectibles have also announced that the Flying HK and Spider HK will be sold as collectibles.
