A user on Youtube has uploaded a number of Terminator: Genisys audition tapes that reveal quite a lot about what Terminator is possibly becoming. We have followed this project closely and things become even more confusing or… maybe clearer? 
Sawyer Bell: SkyNet Hybrid/Young Matt Smith Audition?

The character portrayed in this audition is “Dr. David Kibner” from Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) but we know a child will play SkyNet in Terminator: Genisys and this audition is in the tone of the character of SkyNet in Genisys, of an almost monotone computer as per request most likely- the juxtaposition of innocence with evil- humanity with soullessness. The appearance of a child would be used to disarm.
Did Terminator just become star wars? Utilizing a child to gain wider appeal whilst playing heavily on the threats of world destruction via a semi angelic face.
Sawyer Bell Audition “Dr. David Kibner”-
Woman: “What is this supposed to do?”
David: “A mild sedative; to help you sleep.”
Woman: “I hate you.”
David: “Well we don’t hate you. There’s no need for hate now, or love.”
Woman: “There are people who will fight you David,- They’ll stop you.”
David: “In an hour you won’t want them to. Don’t be trapped by old concepts, you’re evolving into a new life-form; come and watch.
We came here from a dying world, we drift through the universe from planet to planet; pushed on by the solar winds. We adapt. We survive.
The function of life is survival.”
We know the young man who finally obtained this specific role as being Nolan Gross. Nolan Gross and Sawyer Bell are not even a year apart in age- most likely they tried for the same role. SkyNet.
Matt Smith and Nolan Gross share certain similarities,- brown hair, green/hazel eyes and they both have pale complexions- maybe we’re jumping the gun here but, they look alike don’t they? Matt Smith may well be playing the same character as Nolan- and with all that time travel and swinging between decades… aging flesh… mastermind computer… what if Matt Smith is SkyNet? Feels about right- but hey, what do we know?

Aiden Cunningham Audition for the role of “Kid”-
Hal: “You don’t mind talking about this, do you Dave?”
David: “No, not at all.”
Hal: “Well, certainly no-one could have been unaware of the strange stories that have been floating around since we left- rumors of something being dug up on the moon; I never give these stories much credence but particularly in view of some of the things that have happened, I find it difficult to put them out of my mind. For instance, all our preparations have been under such tight security and the melodramatic touch of putting doctors: Hunter, Kimble and Kamanski in hibernation after just four months of training on their own.”
David: “You’re working up your crew physiology report?”
Hal: “Oh, uh, of course I am. I know this is just a bit silly… just a moment… just a moment… I’ve picked up a fault on the EA-35 Unit; it’s going to go 100 percent failure- within 72 hours.”
Aiden is using the script from legendary Sci-Fi movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. Again, the tone of the script used for the audition implies the tone of what was expected from the actors and their possible roles in Genisys. These auditions give us a bit more context and shed a little more light on what the studios were looking at and aiming for while casting for Terminator: Genisys..

We are now seeing even more parent/child relationships in the movie. This movie seems to have a very large cast of younger actors. A red-haired actress did obtain the role of Kyle Reese’s mother in the movie.

Mrs. Carson: “I’ve never seen any of these men before in my life officer; I still don’t understand why we’re here- A.J isn’t in trouble again is he?
-Are you?”A.J Carson: “Mom, I’m all good- you’re embarrassing me.”
Mrs. Carson: “God forbid.”
Cop: “Just bear with me Mrs. Carson; you’re sure you don’t recognize any of these men,- take your time…
-How about you son?”A.J Carson: “Well, that one looks sort of familiar, like I’ve seen him somewhere, he kinda looks like… Dad he looks like you!”
Nick Carson: “I’m way more handsome and NOT a criminal.”
Mrs. Carson: “Unlike your son.”
Mrs. Carson: “Nick what was that noise?”
A.J Carson: “Mom??”
Mrs. Carson: “I’m sure it’s nothing.”
Mrs. Carson: “Oh my god Nick!”
Cop/Nick Carson: “Everybody out now!”
A.J Carson: “No. No! I’m not going out there!”
Mrs. Carson: “A.J come on we have to go!”
Time Travel seems to be a big part of this upcoming story… Terminator: Genisys will be different that is for sure especially if these auditions are anything to go by.
