Dani Ramos Auditions Commence for Terminator (2019)

Dani Ramos Terminator Auditions

Omega Underground is back with more Terminator (2019) news. The poor dialogue (which we hope isn’t real) seems to be between Dani Ramos and a soldier from the future- although that soldier sounds a lot like Arnold Schwarzenegger (c’mon who else says “affirmative” or some shit like that?).

The dialogue could be totally created for audition purposes but here it is transcribed by Omega Underground

RAMOS – Things got a little crazy back there.

SOLDIER – Crazy? Standard operating procedure from here I’m from.

RAMOS – Why don’t you tell me where you’re from? What’s it like there?

SOLDIER – What’s that?

RAMOS – Don’t worry it. They are hazing us for work. They learn to stay clear of trouble. And you sure….look like trouble. They’re so mad. They don’t understand about all this. What’s happening now. How is it even possible?

SOLDIER – I can’t help you with that.

RAMOS – You can’t? Or you won’t.

SOLDIER – Affirmative.

RAMOS – Will you at least tell me why? I mean why me?

SOLDIER – I assume you are someone of great importance. Not that you have been all that impressive so far.

RAMOS – I’m not that impressed with you either! You don’t even know why you’re here, do you?

SOLDIER – You came here breathing. Don’t know. Don’t care to know.

RAMOS – Tell me. You don’t even give a shit but I do. I have a life back there. People I care about. People who care about me beyond keeping me breathing. I’m some great importance to them. I had a family! I mean, I had a family. Now I’m gonna be sick from where I got bit. Like it? Bus accident, the big one. I was 14; when they pulled me from being under. It made the news. Even in the States. They gave me candy to come. Like candy can make you forget the pain. The weight of all that’s twisted is still buried down. I never have to glance again you know?

SOLDIER – You want to understand where I come from. You already do.

RAMOS – My mom told me scars make the skin stronger. We are almost to Nogales! What do you think we will find there?

SOLDIER – Home.

Here are the auditions…

This last video however is the odd one out; with more of an introduction than an actual audition. Could this be a sign of who the studios are keen to cast? Who knows…

Omega Underground also comments on a location that could appear in the movie…

In the audition, the character of Dani is seemingly talking to a soldier from the future on the way through Nogales, Sonora, Mexico (we suspect Spain will double for Mexico in the film), it borders with Arizona which will likely be another locale in the film.

If the Solder from the future is Arnold then we continue to point towards his character being a good Terminator- which we have really had enough of seeing now (just the opinion of this website).

So, out of the auditions which one did we like?… TheTerminatorFans.com’s favorite audition was the one below. She just has a quality the others didn’t (sorry ladies) and came across as the most competent with her look, tone and delivery; we would prefer to see this actress enter the franchise and fight alongside Linda Hamilton for a new trilogy of “hopefully” awesome Terminator movies… Viv also has a little bit of a young Edward Furlong quality in her performance,- in the sense of his world weary and weight of the world dilemmas and may just be the most believable actress to bounce off of Linda Hamilton’s fine acting (that is of course if Linda Hamilton isn’t trying to blow Dani Ramos’s head off, but we find that very unlikely). Good luck Viv Lozano we hope you bag the role.

VIDEO #8 MADE PRIVATE

Final thoughts? Please make Arnold the bad guy again because we really can’t stand him playing good anymore. It could quite possibly ruin anything good about this movie. We are now less worried about Dani Ramos and more worried about Schwarzenegger.
