Crazy Schwarzenegger UK PPI Terminator Advert

PPI Terminator Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator has officially been downgraded from T-800 status down to less than T-1 Terminator Unit (MINI HK TANK) in a new advert by the Financial Conduct Authority.

A new advert for PPI (Payment Protection Insurance) which was mis-sold to various people in the UK via banks, credit cards and other forms of credit finance sees the malfunctioning and crazy head of Arnold Schwarzenegger travelling around a store talking about PPI with customers…

It is quite amusing but it makes you wonder if the people who made this advert were on some crazy acid trip throughout the entire process.

Anyway you will have to see it to believe it… no words can express it… TOTAL MADNESS but Schwarzenegger fans should love these adverts, more are apparently planned… whether they will all star Arnold’s head is unknown.

The deadline to make any PPI complaints/claims will be Judgment Day (August 29th 2019).

The ad from the  features a robot head puppet modelled on Schwarzenegger, putting out the message about the upcoming deadline for making complaints about missold payment protection insurance.

Emma Stranack, the FCA’s head of business and consumer communications explained:

“With this advertising campaign, our biggest challenge is cutting through the noise on PPI and we have created a campaign that is designed to do just that.

“We have undertaken extensive testing to ensure the creative idea was impactful and understood by our very broad target audience. The result is a suite of adverts that we are confident will help us achieve our campaign objectives.”

According to The Guardian, the FCA campaign created by the M&C Saatchi agency is costing £42 million, and is being paid for by the 18 banks and building societies with the most PPI complaints.
