Covera Airport (Covera is Province of Murcia, Spain) has been used for filming and surrounding roads/highways but of course other locations may be used to carry on what we believe is a chase sequence. What Terminator movie doesn’t have a good highway road chase?

The new installment of the Terminator saga has come with strength and great expectation to the Region of Murcia. Preparations for filming began yesterday in the vicinity of the Corvera airport; where cameras, decorated spotlights and specialists will become part of the landscape at least until August 17, time in which it will proceed to convert the area in the desert of Mexico.
The new installment of the popular saga starring Arnold Schwarzenegger has already begun to record some scenes in Spain, specifically in the Isleta del Moro, in Almeria, and will also pass through Alicante.
Filming in Murcia, which was scheduled to begin yesterday, involves the cutting of the RM-16 road from kilometer 0 to 2, which is the link between the Murcia-Cartagena motorway. Although a few days ago, this road has become the border between Mexico and the United States and, instead of announcing the airport, what are advertised are locations as far away as Queretaro, Toluca or Guadalupe.
