Now, initially when we managed to confirm our Exclusive story on the age rating we did some digging and found out the movie had a 12 rating in Hungary… this led us to presume it could be a 12 in the UK… it is in fact a 12a (UK equivalent to PG-13) which means anyone under the age of 12 can go to see Terminator Genisys providing they are accompanied by an adult/parent/guardian (pun intended). Even advanced events/official previews have been advertised as having children viewers… We had initially thought it could be 12 because Terminator Salvation was a 12……
