It is with great sadness that we report that Anton Yelchin aged 27 years of age has died in a traffic collision. After failing to turn up to a rehearsal; concerned friends reported Anton missing and later found his body at 1 AM today outside of his San Fernando Valley home. This has been confirmed by his publicist, Jennifer Allen.
Anton Yelchin did very well as an actor with Terminator Salvation which was a prequel to the first movie/sequel to the last/reboot continuation to Terminator. He had very big shoes to step into as a young Kyle Reese, a role previously defined for all time by Michael Biehn. Anton worked hard to capture Michael’s mannerisms for the role,- we highly commend Anton for adapting to the franchise and doing his best to please fans.
Anton Yelchin was an incredibly promising actor and Hollywood had barely scratched the surface of his talent.
One of Anton’s latest films ‘Green Room’ (trailer below) is a Rated R horror/thriller movie currently at 91% FRESH on Rotten Tomatoes. Another example of what Hollywood and audiences have lost.
Anton will also be back as Chekov in Star Trek Beyond next month.
