Amazon Cancels United States Terminator Fans T2 ENDO ARM Pre-Orders

Terminator 2 Endo Arm

The annoyance for Terminator Fans continues- like an ants nest ready to explode on to the lawn; even with the return of James Cameron to the franchise. Complaints of Digital Noise Reduction on the T2 home release continue to flurry in by email, complaints about the direction the 6th movie has taken with an unwanted Star Wars Force Awakens torch pass and now more ENDO ARM upset is here.

We previously reported that French Terminator Fans had their pre-orders cancelled for the holy grail that is the Terminator 2: Judgment Day Remaster Endo Arm Collectors Edition, now STUDIOCANAL is blowing us all away by cancelling United States orders too. It was thought that a production problem would cause an overall delay but this seems like abandonment. This leaves the UK and German fans to have a cancellation hitting their inboxes.

Terminator Fan Jonathan Glass emailed to let us know about his cancellation:

My United States / Amazon Endoarm Preorder was just canceled by Amazon. The dream is dead. 🙁

When I was a kid I wanted one thing above all else—the Terminator arm shown off by Miles Dyson in T2.  When the Endoarm set was announced my face lit up like a nuke on Judgment Day! I was making payments on the Amazon preorder (by buying gift cards and applying them to the order) and had finally paid it off when I got the notification they’d canceled the order. I’m absolutely crushed. I understand there were manufacturing issues but we dedicated fans would happily wait however long it took to get it right. This isn’t how to treat fans that have been showing support for the franchise through thick and thin.

Jonathan, TheTerminatorFans.com are sad to hear about the lengths you were going to with Gift Cards to pay off your pre-order, we totally feel you’re pain.

Terminator Fan John Brennick comments on TheTerminatorFans.com:

I’m incredibly disappointed to find out that not only those in France are getting their invoices cancelled, but here in the States with someone like Amazon, we are too.  I just received this email a few minutes ago and I’d be lying if I was to say I didn’t get nauseous reading it.  This is the film that got me working in the film business to begin with at 11 years old. This, to me, was going to be one of the most valued possessions I would have owned.  I truly hope they figure out their logistics but now I worry with a cancelled order, losing a place in line on an already limited run- would mean potentially not getting it anyway even if they do end up moving forward.  Such awful news!!

I just had my Amazon USA order cancelled. looks like the product is dead, to the joy of my wife and much to my dismay.

Yes postulio, your wife will be over the moon especially with what this collectible was costing fans, we are sure many pre-order customers had to have a huge negotiation with their partners to be even permitted to pre-order. A negotiation and possible financial arguments for nothing it seems… ?

Terminator Fan Romain comments on TheTerminatorFans.com

Less than 1 week before its consent, Amazon.com cancelled my order without my consent explaining it was due to lack of availibility. My ordered was placed on July 27th !!!. What do you think? I’m ordering it from France. Nowhere was it stated that I couldn’t order it. That’s betrayal.

Romain- ordering from France? You were paying additional charges for importing it to your country and that wasn’t fair to you to begin with. We totally empathize with your disappointment!

We are pretty sure we’re going to be getting plenty of emails on this subject and even more comments about this and TheTerminatorFans.com fully understand you’re all angry and you deserve to be. Fans of Terminator have always deserved better than this,- it just piles up on a mountain of shitty bad feeling.

If this product is completely cancelled; can STUDIOCANAL please stop dangling a carrot and just say that it’s cancelled because right now all we can do is presume it is Terminated.

While TheTerminatorFans.com is no way affiliated officially with studios or STUDIOCANAL we apologize to all the fans and feel free to vent your frustrations on our social network accounts and on the site in the comments, you deserve to be heard.

Update on 11/29/2017:

Terminator 2 and Arnold Schwarzenegger Stuntman Peter Kent apologizes to fans who are feeling down. Thanks Peter! The fans appreciate it.
