Signalnoise *Metallic Variant* edition REVIEW:

On opening the parcel we received from ‘Mystery Box’ we were immediately met with a product of quality. This is official T2 merchandise and it has all the polish you would expect from T2, after all Terminator 2: Judgment Day was a merchandising movie and was successful at it whereas the sequels tried to mimic it but failed by magnifying and focusing on the wrong elements of T2.

All these years on, Studiocanal are showing interest in allowing great companies like Mystery Box to create new official high quality merchandise for a movie they are still proud to own the rights to in their vast vault of movies. This is indeed how film companies need to operate to understand the market of Terminator. A great movie followed by good products like this poster ensures a lifetime of merchandise and loyalty from fans. Hopefully T5 can capture the darkness of the first Terminator movie and the high octane success of T2.

The more successful this release of posters is, the chance of new posters being released in conjunction with STUDIOCANAL is likely.

We recommend that this product is framed immediately if it’s going to exist in your house, we also recommend from past bad experience with movie posters that you don’t have strong sunglight bearing down on your poster. The metallic edition feels special and you can appreciate the the cool glisten as the light catches the metallic paint.

This product comes recommended and you even get a certificate of authenticity which confirms your poster is an official limited, special hand numbered edition of only 90 ever to be made… forever and ever and ever. Yes if you manage to get one of these posters only you and 89 other terminator fans in the world will ever own one! (click the sample certificate for a closer look)

Once these posters are gone, they are gone forever so get yours while you can.

As we stated the possibility of new psoters is a possibility but fans will have to buy these out to prove that T2 is a merchandising movie which still has some klout left.

This is a sample of the poster. This is not the full poster but just a segment of it. Obviously an image or scan doesn’t do the glisten of the metallic paint justice.

Overall:

We love Mystery Box’s poster and think any Terminator fan would be proud to own one. To really understand how cool the metallic paint is on this limited edition you really have to see it to believe it.

Some fans in our community have also pointed out that the Endoskeleton depicted in this poster is based on an Endoskeleton from T3 to which we can see a resemblence from the intro scenes of the third movie. However we assure you that this poster very much has a T2 feel to it.
