>Special Features:

Not many special features but this is a budget price release and the two special features here are worthy of the money. Overall The Machinima series fleshes out the story of Salvation but the story is simple and not really worthy of Terminator status. The effort of finding the frequency that disrupts Terminators *created by Skynet* to trick the resistance into gaining entrance into Skynet to ultimately capture the leader of the Human Resistance... John Connor. Why not just program Marcus to turn evil half way through the film then in the lake scene he would simply hold his hand over his beating heart and nut John Connor senseless in the face reaptedly while drowning his sorry ass in the lake while hydrobots feast on the contents of his Skull, just a thought Helena Bonham... oh im sorry I mean Skynet.

Message to McG: Please McG no more facial representations of skynet. A Simple humming giant cpu in the confines of the skynet pyramid would be nice it could hum like some giant reactor and communicate via a menacing computerized voice. Or maybe just put Arnold on the screen with a silk robe, smoking a cigar and stroking a cat and he can say "I'll get you next time Connor!" Maybe thats the script for Terminator 5, who knows with these people anymore.

>Character Profile:

Blair Williams was given a more personal story, the creators decided to add a bit of meat to the bare bones of the character doodled out by Ferris and Brancato.
We meet Blair after Judgment Day and the machinima series gives us a woman in transformation, from the loner to the resistance fighter glimpsed briefly in Salvation.
So if Salvation hasn't given you the moon you can happily get starry-eyed here.

>The Making Of:

Moon Bloodgood, Terminator Salvation, Blair WilliamsUnlike with the movie,- the guys behind the Machinima series put heart into their project.
Described as almost "live puppetry" the craft to Machinima is more intricate than movie-making.
Machinima is born from gamer culture, being able to manipulate your environment to suit any purposes then share your experiences with others. Since current social networks like Facebook and Twitter allow people to share their views with others, the web helps these two things come together to bring us fan immersion games and free-flowing ideas and Machinima.
Machinima is almost documentary-like, different angles and a more narrative monologue add to the sheer techincal brilliance of the genre.
The creators will repeat scenarios to get just the right angle, it can seem as though it's a single camera t.v show. Another difference with Machinima is that the people involved can edit scenes without the presence of the actors which obviously saves time and hassle.
Nerds, boffins, eggheads, gamers, these people pwnd McG and how did they do it?

They could see the possibilities and not just the dollar signs. Awesome.
