Terminator Salvation The Arcade Game 32"

TERMINATOR SALVATION THE ARCADE GAME INFORMATION:

Well Terminator Salvation may not have been what Terminator Fans had waited 18 years for but it was enough of a success to still be producing merchandise in the form of a new book release "Terminator Salvation: Trial by Fire" by Titan and now a Super Deluxe version of the popular Terminator Salvation arcade machine by Play Mechanix.

If any of you Terminator Fans took a day out to the beach or to an amusement arcade at the mall or Galleria then you may have come across a fine shoot-em up machine that goes by the name of Terminator Salvation (pictured left). The cabinet has been a success, so much so that a "super deluxe version" has been created. So Halcyon are still pushing on with Terminator Salvation merchandise. While Pacificor currently hold the Terminator rights which will be sold soon, hopefully to a movie producing company, it was an agreement that Halcyon would retain rights to Terminator Salvation.

The game also features the T-7 Spider Tank which made an appearance in Terminator Salvation: The Game, by the now defunct Grin Studios. It makes you wonder whether this specific Terminator model was meant to be in the movie. Unlike in the game the T-7's literally climb the walls around you and pounce in attack from vertical surfaces if this had been implemented into the movie the way play mechanix has refined it on screen in the arcade game, then this would have broke ground in a Terminator movie and not the digital Schwarzenegger Cameo which really had a deflated impact, it was expected and really did not live up to an actor in the flesh. Anyway if you didn't see the T-7 aka- The Spider, then be sure to check it out in motion on the game as you fire helplessly at many many Terminators on screen at once!

In our opinion the T-7 is a pretty cool Terminator model you can literally see this being pre-centurion in the unfilmed Terminator mythos! Let's hope T-7s and the never filmed Centurions of Terminator 2 make an appearance in their true glory in the next Terminator movie. It would be a wonder to behold in the middle of a future war massacre, the one that fans deserve for all the years of loyalty.

The machine itself is crafted by Play Mechanix people may remember these guys for creating the "Aliens: EXTERMINATION" Cab in 2006! You should still be able to find these in the odd arcade if your lucky. Another link to James Cameron then...
