USA Today did a ‘geek’ movie preview for 2015 and a 1 new Terminator Genisys image has been revealed.
Maybe the set location is the Airfield that was used in promo photos. As the resistance fight their way to a time machine located inside this SkyNet prison camp, or is this the home of SkyNet itself?
Is it just promotional? Is a real puppet being used for a practical scene?
The skull looks like it isn’t part of the original image, it feels like a bootleg skull…
It looks lifeless like it sits on a pole and stares with a shit-eating grin. The body is better than the skull… but evokes feelings of the RoboCop Reboot.
We did like Legacy Effects work on RoboCop but we feel this redesign was again,- a way to make the Endoskeleton look friendly as with Terminator 3 and Salvation. Rebooting RoboCop was messy and so is Terminator. It simply isn’t canon anymore and it’s very disappointing and family orientated. This isn’t what fans bought into. The ‘real fans’ are being alienated.
What do you think about the slim-line Endoskeleton design? We think it looks to clean and polished and not scary at all.
I didn’t think a Terminator movie could ever be this unexciting.

I like it. I’m more concerned about how a Terminator endo like this can have a flesh covering. I’ve always thought that the shoulders need protective coverings to prevent chafing of the flesh and thus damage and serious bruising. It might be a Terminator but flesh is flesh no matter what.
The main issue is the redesigned chest and lower torso/abs area. The spine is redesigned also. The Terminator now has more of class V body shape leading down to the waist… which is desirable to bodybuilders. But it departs the original… FOR NO REASON. Why have the T800 at all? Why call it T800? That isn’t a T800. Maybe it is a T875 or something but Terminator 1 and 2 had T800s, not this thing.
it looks friendly…. ii think they should end the franchise now.
the t-800 looks very friendly….. i think the franchise should end now. The T1 & T2, the fans dont deserve this kind of things….
I don’t like it. Big teeth, they don’t look menacing… I mean all you have to do is look at an image of the t-800 in the opening scenes from T2 and you’ll immediately notice how much scarier they were in T-2.. ugh, frustrating times for a Terminator fan.
