In the first unlock from Arnold Schwarzenegger we see a weird contraption on his hand. What is it? … It’s a weapon, we know it contains a magnetic charge/field which can displace or distort particles, especially on Terminators which are more highly advanced than the Guardian T-800 and is put together during the story. This could lead to some spectacular visual effects in the fight department. Whether Arnold will incapacitate humans with it isn’t clear.
RoboCop also had a stun-gun upgrade in the recent ‘Robo-Reboot’.
Judging by the lack of blood on Arnold’s face (whether a blood filled R-Rated edition is unknown) the image suggests PG-13 and the new weapon does too.
Let’s just call it a… POWER FIST for now. #PowerFist
We placed a small easter egg inside recent artwork to help raise awareness for the amazing cause ‘Hands for Alan‘.
We didn’t have a clue how the weapon would be visually represented but there you go.
Arnold punching micro-dots of reality? Let’s hope it looks as good as it sounds…

The movie looks like it might be good, the VFX looks terrible – PG-13 or not, that shot of the battle damaged face as well as all the T-1000 scenes so far look very amateurish.
Of course the new trailer released like 20 minutes after I wrote that comment. The CGI in the new trailer looks really nice in general, but Arnold’s battle damaged, bloodless face still looks weak. Maybe they don’t want to use a bloody face in a promo image..
The T-1000 is looking much better but the bullet impacts when it is kneeling on the car hood still looks awkward. Considering the really good CGI we are seeing in other scenes in the trailer, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.
